Meet Our Doctor

Dr. Scott P. Walker, DC
Chiropractor

After 22 years of practicing chiropractic with a physicians’ group in Pennsylvania, I am grateful to be back home and call Salem County Chiropractic Center my practice! It has been a lifelong dream to practice here and serve the hardworking people of Salem County. As a Salem County native, graduating from Woodstown High School in 1992, I have always wanted to give back to my roots, and appreciate the opportunity to do so.

Growing up in Salem County in the great days of sports reporter Erma Oliver and the Salem County Sunbeam, I participated in many youth sports leagues including Seagull Wrestling, Woodstown baseball and soccer. In high school, I continued my love for sports, pursuing football, wrestling and track. As a scholar-athlete at the collegiate level, I place kicked and wrestled for Upsala College until it was time to begin chiropractic school. I went on to attend Life University in Marietta, Georgia to complete my Doctorate of Chiropractic in 1998.

Chiropractic has been part of my life since I was 10 years old. As a high school and college athlete, chiropractic helped me stay injury-free. Even now, chiropractic helps keep me healthy and continuing to move as I practice Jiu Jitsu in which I received my black belt at Renzo Gracie PA  Academy in 2019.

Over the past couple decades of practicing, I have developed my skills, working with all types of  individuals to improve the quality of their lives and enhance their health and performance. I continue to educate myself by taking many educational classes to keep me up to date with the ever growing knowledge of chiropractic, health, and wellness. I am certified in several adjusting techniques including chiropractic biophysics, Webster technique for pregnancy, and neonatal care. I am also a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician and specialize in the treatment of athletes. I have extensive training and knowledge in extremity adjusting, exercise therapy, rehabilitation, and nutrition. I have worked on professional Olympic level athletes as the team doctor for the former Philadelphia Charge women’s soccer team, the former Macy’s Gymnastics Academy, and have served as Renzo Gracie Pennsylvania Academy’s MMA team doctor.

I have a simple, one word philosophy that reflects in all that I do, MOVEMENT. Movement is life. We have to move to live and grow. Keeping the body healthy means the body has to be in motion. And everyone needs to move, not just athletes! However, moving correctly is the key. Focusing on proper posture aligns the body allowing it to move freely without stress that can cause injury at all levels. As your chiropractor, I will help keep you aligned and moving so that you can live your best, healthy, movement filled life!

Let’s get moving!
